Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or place entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside company that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results under its own practices. We do not retain or record those search terms on our systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
When you email us, we retain the message as needed to answer it. We keep that correspondence within our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
Our servers automatically receive basic technical details when a page loads:
- Page-view dates and times
- Your device's assigned IP address

- Device category and operating system
- Pages viewed and the time spent on them
- The referring website, when one is reported

No Criminal-Record Data on File
We do not create, keep, or sell a database of personal criminal records. The site explains how to approach the Unicoi County Sheriff's Office, the Circuit Court Clerk, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation systems, and the Tennessee Sex Offender Registry for records held by those official custodians. Tennessee public access to government records is governed in part by the Tennessee Public Records Act, principally T.C.A. §10-7-503 and T.C.A. §10-7-504, while registry disclosure is addressed by T.C.A. §40-39-206. Those laws do not turn this private site into a government repository. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor data is not assembled into a consumer report or a record about another person.
Third-Party Search Partners
Independent companies operate the search boxes shown on the site. Their privacy policies, retention periods, and disclosure rules govern any information entered in those tools. We do not control those practices, so review the applicable provider policy before submitting a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to the Unicoi County government, Tennessee courts, state agencies, legal resources, or outside search providers. Once you follow an external link, the destination's privacy policy controls that visit. Review it before providing personal information.
Some advertising companies may use their own systems to follow activity across websites and select targeted ads. We do not operate that cross-site tracking.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal information. Data may still be disclosed to:
- Analytics providers that measure traffic and performance
- Search partners processing a query you choose to submit
- Advertising networks serving content on the site
- Government or law enforcement bodies acting under a valid legal order
How We Protect Your Data
We use customary safeguards for the information we collect. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, however, so we cannot promise that unauthorized access or a breach will never occur.
Users Under 18
This site is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. If we learn that a minor supplied such information, we will delete it promptly.

The Tennessee Public Records Act, T.C.A. §10-7-503 and T.C.A. §10-7-504, concerns access to records held by Tennessee government custodians and does not itself create a right to private website data.
